Everyone should feel the healing benefits of outdoor recreation.

Adaptive Maui is a program of Kelea Foundation. We are a group of athletes, community members and dedicated individuals with the goal to make our island’s outdoors more accessible to all residents and visitors.

We started in 2016, working with elite level adaptive athletes to do some of the most extreme sports, adapted. We expanded our programs to local Maui residents and then extended our reach to visitors and the tourism industry.

Since August 2023, we stepped into a gap in the Wildfire recovery to support survivors with disabilities and access and functional needs. Kelea Foundation programs span sports and recreation across many communities, not just the disability community. Our vision is an inclusive community where everyone has access to sports and the outdoors, regardless of how they move in the world.

All proceeds from our tours and rentals go to support Kelea Programs for local Hawaii residents.
